Noob in PDX- looking to buy 5th or 6th Gen.

Hello Veefers!
I came here to research the VFR. I've always liked it, and I think now's the time for me. From what I can tell, there's not really a bad year for this bike. I really like my buddy's 4th gen, I thought I wanted a 5th gen, but the 6th gen is really growing on me. It also looks like there's plenty of these bikes out there to choose from. I would appreciate any advice on choosing between 1998 and current- maybe there's a certian year that's better than all the rest. Again, it doesn't seem like there's a lemon year.

cheers!
-Kevin

Welcome to the forum. Hard to get an unbiased opinion of what gen is best. Just pick up a well-maintained example and giv'er hell!
