New to VFRworld

I understand that posting a thread in the introductions forum is the appropriate thing to do, so here goes...

I recently (last year) got back into riding after a 18 year absence (I'm 39 now and had riden since I was 20). I came across a listing on eBay for an 1985 VF500F and couldn't resist. I used to ride the same bike when I was in high school/college and I guess it was just my mid-life crisis kicking in. I had to do some work myself, and brought it to the dealer to have other stuff done. For the most part she's been trouble-free but now I have some issues that need to be dealt with. It's my intent to get her running right and then bring her in for new paint, decals, minor tank dent repair, etc.

I'll post before/after pictures when I'm done.

This is a great online community and I'm looking forward to participating more actively in the future.
