Newbie
Hello all,
I am the token new guy here. My name is Dave and i have a 1993 750 white. I have had her for about two years now. I used to own an 86 750. Loved that bike, until the ex got it in the divorce. I'm not bitter, no not at all. Honestly, i dont get much opportunity to ride these days. Life is nuthin but work and family. Not alot of me time if you know what i mean. I would post picts, but they are boring. Just a stock 93 white. I have all the same ol questions everybody else has... will a 4th gen exhaust fit on a 3rd gen, and where can i score a two bros left side exit system and the like. I have been lurking around here for a while and finally got off my butt to post. I used to be a member of the vfr mailing list, but when i lost my bike i couldnt bear to read about other happy vfr owners. I have a myspace page if anybody wants to check it out, there may be a couple of pics of my bike on there. I use the same username there as i do here. So, if you are ever in the Las Vegas area and want to go on a ride, hit me up. Ill do my best to escape for the day. Dave |

Welcome aboard, decomp. Cool nick name.
Lots of early VFRs here. Some one will have some answers for your ideas.

Hey Dave, welcome! Th exhaust will interchange but you will have to hunt and shell out some big dough for the left hand exhaust. We have a few other members here that are in Vegas too. Im sure they may chime in or you can start the "Who the Hell Lives in Vegas" thread. Brian

I was thinking more "decomposition" as in decay.

Welcome DeComp. This is a great place for sound advice and even for some heated political/ethical/religious conversation. I'm fairly new myself. The VFR riders on this site really are a great group. The best thing about this site is the entertainment is free. Post often and who cares if your 3rd gen is a boring white (mines a boring red...although red is the best color!) put up some pics anyway...they're all fun to look at.

Thanks again, i got the animal house reference to the new nickname. So, Decompression it is. Its your board, and you can call me what you want.
Ill keep an eye out for a 3rd or 4th gen left side exhaust to complete the look. |
