Newbie here (sorry long intro)

Hey! New guy here. Just bought an 85 VF750F. My first bike actually, all my freinds ride Yamaha's and Kawasaki's so I looked for a Honda and just fell for the Interceptor. I dont know much about bikes so thank God I found this site.
I'm an old time drag racer (Mustangs) so naturally I want to modify the bike but I dont know where to start (or if I should) The bike is bone stock with 43,ooo kms on it but I dont know where to look for aftermarket parts. I didnt apreiciate the technology that went into bike's till I got this one and started to actually look at my friends bikes as well, I figured I could just dive in like my cars but now I'm a little intimdated. As long as I can keep up with my buddies R6 and ZX6R I'll be happy (especially since my car can stomp all thier cars, probably why they all bought bikes lol). Any Idea's or suggestion will be apprieciated.
Thanks
Dave

Welcome aboard, darkhorse.
Unfortunately, the older bikes are losing favor with the after market parts folks.
You may be able to find a newer pipe for it, an air filter, maybe.
Check out Daugherty Motor Sports. Jamie is a member here and has some good stuff. Also, use the search function above and look up Seb Speed, he has some older bike projects going on.
Good Luck.
