Greetings everyone!

Hello.. I am a new member to VFRWORLD... I have owned 2 of these great bikes in my lifetime. First one was a 1986 VFR700 and now I have a silver 2003 ABS model. Just bought it the other day. Got it from a dealer so dont know the previous owner or service history. I went ahead and changed the oil, filter, coolant, and clutch fluid which looked a little dark. I also replaced the drive and driven sprockets as well as the chain with an RK Xring chain. I'm really proud of it. Hopefully I'll have some pics in the gallery soon!

This site has already been EXTREMELY helpful with questions I've had about the maintenance I've done. I will be installing a Werkes Comp Fender Eliminator this week. I think that will make it look alot better.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for the helpful info on this site.

Thanks!

Welcome! I played my ass off at the Galax Fiddlers weekend a few years ago. I also got some great Mexican food from a little Hispanic Grocery near the fair grounds. One of the best things I remember was the p*ss troughs in the mens room at the fair grounds. They don't have that sort of thing up here in yankee land. God, I miss the South.......

Welcome aboard.
Nice to see more EMS personnel on the site.
Not so much for bike wrecks, more for the train wrecks after the political threads.

Keep your gear handy.
