Saying Hello... New Member

Just bought my 6th Honda, 3rd VFR, 4th V4, and 9th bike. New (old) bike is a 1986 VFR750. Bike is as new with only 11,000 miles on it. I'm a bit older and bought the bike for my 60th birthday... Kind of stuck in the late 80's early 90's and an old schooler. Bike will stay stock except maybe for front forks. Had a pearl white 87 and loved it, so got another. Prefer it to my 94, which I loved as well, though. I also have a 1993 Ducati 900SS, but its a bit of a truck at low speeds and turns. Wanted the comfort and sound of the VFR whine. Live near Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and see there are a few guys near me. Hope to hook up for Sunday rides in the country here.

Always saying hello to everyone, I guess. :)

This time of year we northeasterners start getting pretty envious of you guys out in Cali. I have a 3 rotor Rx7 that's in the shop for motor work and just bitched to the shop owner about the time it had taken him, because it started snowing today. Not an issue in San Diego or the central coast out there... We start putting our toys away for the winter.

Anyway, I am hoping for some more good weekends before it gets bad.

well, you could always fly out and hang with us for a bit... derstuka there made it up here for the BBQ a while back and we had several others. it was a good time. we'll do it again next year at least once if not twice like this year... just search for central coast bbq or reg's bbq or something like that and you'll see what we're talkin bout...
