Welcome! What breed of CB's do you ride? I myself have five of different flavors with none below 400cc.

Can you still fit a feeler gauge in between the asphalt and your exhaust when you corner on your 900? What the power plant in that midget racer?
I am starting to really like those 1100F. I've seen a few of them around. You've got a pretty one. Ahhhh, so many bikes, so little growth in the market..... My garage is as follows: '85 VF700F (so they would let me on this forum) '78 CB750F SS (I went to change chain and sprockets this fall and suddenly the motor and frame were in two different places in my shop. To be continued...) '75 CB400F SS (I tore it down last year. Fully "rustored") '77 CB400F SS (Same thing last year.) '76 CB550 Four (Motor swap last year, 6k miles on chassis) '76 CB550F SS (This one was built by my lovely lady. Beautiful original orange paint) I am taking donations for my museum dedicated to Mid 70's Honda Fours. I am certainly not for profit or so it would seem. I'd make it tax exempt, too. |

That pic was actually taken in Lavallete, 40min south of redbank.
Haha, yea, I would scrape the pipe. But now thats all fixed. Jumped up the next tire series in the front, and found a nice SS supertrap, which gave additional clearance. Those 400s are sweet bikes, my buddy has a few of them. Like a mini bike on steroids! Be sure to keep an eye on the kickstand area of the older ones. I have had to reweld in new frame sections on a few of them after they rot out and the kick stand pushes through the frame! |

I love those CB11000F's too.
when i got my first big bike back in the early eighties, my riding buddies had a CB1100F, aKZ100R eddie lawson rep, and I had a Z1000J. Those were mac daddy bikes! This was my J, very similar to the Honda in style. later on we did a bit of club level racing on it, what a hoot!
