New to VFR and to VFR World

I bought an '08 VFR this past Saturday and I am looking forward to putting some miles on it. It'll be ready for the 500 mi oil change before long (if the weather holds up).

It's a fantastic bike. Fast. Light. Smooth. Great handler. The lean forward position is something I hope to get used to.

Did I say it's fast? I am quite impressed for an 800 cc bike! I recently had a BMW K1200 RS and I presently have a Yamaha FJR, the VFR requires some down shifting but I think it would keep up w/o problems.

I am a member of other motorcycle forums and this one has really made a good first impression on me. Being able to load pictures with no size limitations is GREAT, I posted two pictures in my gallery. Let me try to attach one here and see how that works. Works fine, the forum manages the size automatically. I love it.

I'll be around.

Ron
