Good for some

Hi guys. Just registered from Canberra, Australia. The site is full of great info and I look forward to interacting with like enthusiasts in north america and elsewhere. The title of the message is just to rub it in that it is summer in Aus (you can get your own back in a few months) and I am looking forward to some great riding in the Australian Alps on a new limited edition vfr that i have had for only 5 weeks or so . Just replaced a CBR 600 that I have had from new for 10 years. The VFR is such a great sport tourer and so far ahead of the 600 in so many ways and the fact that enthusiasts have created a site for one model from Honda speaks volumes for the bike.
Have a good Chrissy and take care.

Welcome aboard.
Yes it is winter her in the US. But some of us can still ride. I rode to work this morning. 27 degrees F. The sun is shining, the skies are blue, gentle breeze.

Isn't it like dark, 30 degrees, and raining 360 days a year in Washington? Maybe it just seems that way from all the tough guy rider stories I hear from R.W.....

Thanks for the welcome. Apologies to Kiwi Red - I think this may be the last summer in Aus for a while due to the financial crisis.

Welcome! Yeah, I was thinking about when the next time I'll be riding my bike again (?) as I was sitting in my deer stand freezing my ass off! Enjoy your journey on a sweet ride!
