Hey guys!
I'm new to both the motorcycling world and this board. I used to ride an FZ6 but just after a month of riding and about 4000miles I got rear-ended by a grand cherokee which basically killed my bike. I decided I wanted to try something different so I found this awesome deal:
31,500 miles (I know I know valve service is almost here), 2bros exhaust, 2 sets front & rear sprockets, brand new chain and sprockets on the bike, new-ish tires, 3 sets break pads, 2 magnetic tank bags, 2 saddle bags and all in all MINT condition of the bike. All that came to me for $4000.
So now I'm the proud owner of a 2003 VFR :) I've put 500 miles in the past few days and I should seriously start thinking of doing the service but I just don't wanna waste any of the few beautiful days left from this season.
So yeah, just sayin' hi :)
P.S.
And here's my girl :)

Thanks for the welcome man! I'm from Framingham but I don't really ride around here (too much civilization). I've gotten accustomed to take Rt9 everyday after work, get to Worcester, take Rt122 then get on Rt32A, enjoy a few miles of brand new pavement that I rarely share with anyone else, then merge back on Rt9 and head back home :) If you live around here - let me know! I'd be glad to ride with someone else for a change!
Glad to see there are more VFRs in the area! Quiet frankly I don't think I've ever seen any VFRs on any of my rides (local or outside of MA). I'll definitely join you guys for a ride on the next get-together.
Which part of MA are you from btw?

Welcome, great looking bike!
Ah, best of worlds, what's become of you now?

I am in the springfield area and most of the guys that ride are from CT.
we ride Mt. Greylock a few times and 122 and 32a are nice roads.
you ever get up to Quabin ?? it is in the 122 - 32 area around Barre at all?
Belchertown ( rt 9 ) Quabbin Reservoir is about 20 min from my place.

This is what my daily ride looks like http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...74042&t=h&z=10 :)
In other words I go past Quabbin every single day (now that it got colder I'm avoiding the rain as I have no rain gear and I'm freezing too much to ride all soaked ... especially at night). We definitely have to hook up for a ride some time :)
Will have to meet up some weekend at Quabin.
I got a waterproof jacket from my wife for out anny and I picked up a pair of goretex ski pants for 45 bucks off season and the set up works great and fits over my riding gear, I just need some wp boots.
I work in CT so weekdays are out.

Welcome, Zmeiaspas. I do think riding in Western Mass beats Central and Eastern Mass, but you have carved out a nice route for yourself. And the bike is sweet!
