New 07 VFR rider!

Hey everyone. I am new to this forum. I just bought a 07 VFR800 RWB. It was still in the create. I have always wanted an Interceptor. I remember begging my sisters boyfriend to ride his when I was much younger. He never let me... Well now I have my own.

This forum has been a great source of information. Thanks!

I also have a Suzuki DL650, SV650, and a GS500. I am looking to sell the GS. It is my wifes. She moved up to my DL when I bought the VFR.

So it sounds like both you and your wife got an upgrade. Nice. Make sure you let us know how you like it once you've put some miles on it. Congratulations and welcome.

And how is the riding down there in FL? I recall it is rather flat and curve-deprived.

I picked the bike up two weeks ago tomorrow. Great Bike. I love my SV but the VFR kicks it's butt. It took me a few miles to get use to the difference between the two. I have already put 1200 miles on it. I did not get to see the create so no pictures. I will post a few pics of the bike soon. The SV will remain in the Garage. I have no plans to ever sell it. I will try and ride it at least once a week. You know run to the store and take the long way home. The DL was my long distance bike. Now it's my wife's and she loves it. A few weeks ago we did a 750 mile weekend and she never complained. i rode the SV for that ride because I had not yet received my VFR.

Yes, FL is flat and straight but I live in the country and if you know where to look there are some really good roads.

Thanks for the welcome. I will be looking around this site a lot.

Dave.

Welcome! I have a couple of really close friends in St. Pete, so who knows? Maybe I'll ride down someday from AK.
