G'day. This is my first post to VFR World. I discovered this website whilst seeking info on VFR's and Sprints. Needless to say I have owned a VFR800 (98) for two weeks. I am very happy with my choice - Great Bike. I have been off bikes for 7 years and in the space of 8 weeks I now own two. A two stroke project RDLC and a fast reliable road bike with electric start! Cheers hope to chat soon.

Welcome aboard, Make yourself at home, You will find tons of good info. here

welcome to the site. I ride a 98 also and am also a fan of two strokes. I havent ridden a street two stroke since an old GT550 I had but I rode a 2 stroke on the dirt the other day. Nothing like the smell of oil and gas in your gear...

Congrats on your bikes and welcome to VFRW!
With 2 new bikes in 8 weeks after 7 years off, it looks like you're trying to make up for lost time!
Maybe that's why I ride so much - while I wanted a motorcycle most of my adult life, I finally got my 1st one a few years ago, so I have to make up for all the years I didn't have a bike.
Nah. I ride so much because I love it!![]()
Thanks for the photo recommendation, will do
Yes it has been a long time. Delighted with the VFR. I rode about 5 or 6 Sprints and one VFR750 (Gen 4) and I was hooked. The VFR that I rode belonged to a client of mine and he did say "go and ride the Triumphs, then come and ride the VFR and then you will buy a VFR" - He was right!
