Reintroduction
Hey guys I am reintroducing myself since I have been a member for a while now and have been lazy at best. I have a 4th gen 96 with Thurn Bodywork, Gun Metal paint, carbon fiber chain guard and front fender, Gen Mar Bar risers and some other small things I am forgetting. Anyway I paid 2650 for the bike with: soft luggage, front lift, battery tender, and extra oil and filters. I am planning to add Race Tech fork springs and gold valving over the Christmas break. I am a Senior English teach at Dillon HS in Dillon Sc and love using the bike for the 65 mile commute. I live about a ten minute walk from the beach in Myrtle so it's a long drive but worth it. I love the bike and everythign about it. I put about 9000 miles on it so far and could not be happier. I was almost convinced to buy a new cruiser because I was told how uncomfortable sport bikes were for distance, all I can think of now is how stupid I almsot was. Thanks to all of you guys who have given me great advice so far and I will try and be a more frequent poster now, new pics will be up soon. As far as gear I have a EXO 1000 helmet, Teknic gauntlets, Alpinestar jacket and pants and just bout a Aerostich on ebay.

hahaha. I correct my students all of the time and they hate it. I have seen a lot of errors on here but lucky for me motorcycles are a little more exciting than correct verb tense usage. Glad to see I got some smart answers as well since it makes me feel like a real insider.

Ok guys just got back from the bike store and my battery is bad. Any ideas for a cheaper place to order one? The stealership wanted 90 bucks.

Dude welcome... Mmmm $90 doesn't to bad, seems that's right around what I paid for one back last year.
