Just arrived to VFR World!
Wanted to say hello to the group and introduce myself. Nice to find some fellow VFR riders.
I purchased a 05 Silver VFR last September and have enjoyed every minute on the bike. I am very fortunate to live in North Georgia close to the mountains and some great twisties. There are many local riders in my area and we cover quite a few miles on the weekends. Hoping to plan some overnite rides in the near future and see more of the Southeast. Looking forward to visiting with all of you in the future! SC |

Hi sccaptor and welcome to our corner of the net, set asside for enthusiasts like ourselves. :-) N. GA is some nice countryside. Silver is a good color, and it would be a color I would choose, infact, I had a Dodge Ram that was silver. It's always good to have others to ride with and be able to share the experience, though that doesn't mean you can't ride alone if you want to. We have some nice features here, like a member map that you can add yourself to so others can see about where you are as well as a chat room, which has a weekly scheduled chat on Tuesdays starting at 7:30 PST. But drop in the chat room anytime you like as it's not just for Tuesdays.
Again, welcome to the group and we are happy to have you as part of our family of vfr owners. |

N. GA huh
Scceptor. Do you ride with the N. GA Sportbike group? I used to when I had a different bike but got away from it. I'm getting an 04 VFR this weekend and will hook back up with them soon.

Hello Everyone,
I am new myself to the site. I am looking into getting a VRF. I am comming off the the c-rockets and want to tour a lot more. Looking at an 06 in white. Wish they had other colors, but oh well. My question is. I want to do rides of 500 miles or so a day touring. Can you do this much mileage without changing bars, seat, ect? I just want to get on the bike and ride. I realize seat time is the key.. Thanks for any feedback.. Steve |
