new to group, not to VFRs!
yaaaaah, folks, it's me, SQUIRRELMAN, new to this group but VFR enthusiast since 1990, when i started with my first of about 8 '86 R/W/B VFRs!!!
i love the sound of gear-whine!! And, despite knowing their faults, i LOVE these frantastic creations of Mr. Honda and his engineers!! presently the proud, delirious owner of 3 '86s and one '97!! what else could an old fart want from life??? live in buffalo,l new york, the asshole of the nation, and HATE GEORGE BUSH with a murderious passion!!! And hate chaney with near appoplectic intensity! i'm a skilled, semi-pro mechanic and have been through every system on the bike, and still love it (them)....... replaced my share of voltage regulators along the way..... also lucky to own other bikes: '66 yamaha YL-1(my first bike!), "72 Honda CB 750, 3 '86 VFRs, '88 Honda NT 650 Hawk, "88 VTR 250, '89 Hawk, '92 ZX-7, '86 FJ 1200, '86 yam Radian ( my beater bike), and '97VFR 750F had no interest in motorcycles for unknown reasons until i was 44 years old, and the passion began then!!! |
