newbie to vfrworld

Hey all, I'm new to vfrworld and I just wanted to say hello.

I recently (this weekend) upgraded from a Katana 600 to a VFR800. So far I love the bike...there is a world of difference between the two. I am realitivly new to riding as this is my first season. I bought the Katana in April of this year but some idiot ran it ove in a parking lot while I was in the store...however, it seemed to work out in my favor as now I have the VFR.

Welcome to the land of the V-4, Man it must have been painful to go to the parking lot and see your ride on the ground, worst yet if you witnessed it through the window

I saw it from the window and ran out in time to watch it fall over...

To make things worse...the guy had no insurance.

But it is all taken care of now.

Welcome TX. Sorry to hear about your Katana, but you have now upgraded to a new world of adventure. It's a nice looking bike. Love the Woody stickers

Welcome to the group. Sorry to hear about the Kat, but I think the VFR is better. I am biased, though. :)
