Howdy

Just got my first VFR 19 days ago, its a 2000 that is stock except for a D&D exhaust. Yellow of course since that is the only color that was offered in 2000. I Love it!!!! Good power and a awsome sound with that pipe. I know that all out preformance is not what this bike is about, but compared to the last bike I just sold to get this one, it is just another world. the vfr is plenty powerful, and it's a user friendly power. I think it allows the average rider to have fun on a bike without having to work too hard, and you can sit up and chill and eat the miles, too. Welcome to the club.

Hi Lighter and welcome. Yep the VFR has a world of power. I have a D&D on mine and love the sound. I can now say my race car has 2 wheels. hehehe I have logged, so far, about 7500 miles or so and enjoyed every one of em. Can't wait to see some pics.

Well I've ben ridding to work allmost everyday now since got it and about 400 miles on the hiway, Now I understand why this bike has won so many Cycle World top tens. Just got a double bubble Zero Gravity wind screen from Dennis Kirk. Looks Cool (I think), but not sure about all the warnings on the package, (for show only and off road use?) I hope it diverts some of the bugs from my face shield. I wasn't so sure about the seat, at first I thought it sloped too much to the front and I couldn't get a comfortable position on it, But I am getting used to it now. Anyone ever tried that high dollar Leather Corbin seat yet? I was wondering if it was worth the mony. Lighter.
