VFR luggage

Hello,

For those who have a oem luggage on their VFR, can a full-face helmet fit inside?
What is the largest full face helmet size that will fit?

For those with the Givi 35, does it accept any full face helmet?

I thank you in advance for your input.

I just got my GIVI 35s and the smallest that will fit is my wifes Size small and its major tight. I love the Givi 35s and mounting hardware. Theres a ton of room just not really layed out for a full face helmet. Picked up my GIVI setup for $620 to the door from Honda VFR Interceptor seats, luggage, bars, exhaust, and accessories Good luck

Thanks for your reply. I take it that your wife's helmet isn't full face helmet?
May I ask where you purchased your Givi V35?

What size is your Shoei Rf1000? I'm debating between the oem or Givi. I don't mind spending extra $ if the oem will accept a larger size helmet.
Thanks for your reply.

It is a medium. It is hard to tell how much room is left, but it fits fine with maybe half an inch to spare.

I have a "Sport Touring Trunk" on the back of mine. It is a genuine Honda accessory so the paint will match. It holds 2 full face helmets. Looks a little funny because of the height. It has a rubber back rest on it to help support 2-up riding. My wife loves the trunk because she uses it as a back-rest. Just search Honda Motorcycle Trunks and you will find it. $600 with the bracket. Very easy to install.

Stay away from Corbin. They have little, if any, quality control, no customer relations department, and cost way too much. I speak from experence.

I have the OEM side cases and my XL helmet will fit inside of them with room for my gloves and other small items. They are plenty big for your helmet.

I have a Givi E45 on a top rack. It fits 2 helmets and I don't think that it sticks up too high.

K1W1 do you have any pics of the E45? I've been a little torn between getting a top case or not. So I wonder if the E45 is any different than a factory top case or if it is similar. I'll go peruse everyone's gallery pics and see if I can find another E45 to compare to the factories as well.

Vs - sorry I don't have any pics with me right now. It is similar to the factory top case but at $140 delivered, it is a lot cheaper. The E45 can be used as a top case or a side case and is pretty big. I like the space though as I will frequently use my VFR for running errands etc. (so I don't have to use the car). I kept it from the V-strom that I sold and can you believe that the VFR I bought just happen to have a Givi top rack already mounted - perfect!

I had the opposite experience with Corbin regarding the customer relations.

If someone is looking for some used red Corbin Beatle bags for a 5-gen - take a look on the Denver CL

I don't have any experience with the Corbin Beetles but there are some instructions on the Corbin website under the Notes section - Link Here

I have the GIVI V35 and my large and XXL HJC Carbon helmets will not fit without putting alot of stress on the hinge area and latch. I do have a AGV Medium that will fit and a Scorpion Medium will fit although tight. If I would have know I would have bought OEM. With these awesome bags empty and my helmet locked with a cable it don't seem right.
