Question Lake Michigan Iron Butt

I am looking for a 1000 mile Iron Butt route around Lake Michigan. Preferably leaving Chicago into Wisco then around into the UP and down into Michigan. I tried the Iron Butt website, but no luck. Bike is a stock 06 Pearl Black. If I am gonna ride it will upgrade the seat and a set of heli-bars.

Just found this thread. So I know it's really late but in case you are still looking...

Look up Lake Michigan Circle Tour. The route is marked with signs and is pretty easy to follow. I don't know the mileage but I bet it is 1000 or more.
