Best VFR Parts supplier, Air filter & Hot U plugs

I am looking for a supplier that stocks aftermarket & stock parts for a 98 VFR800. Hopefully outside of CA so I don't have to pay shipping plus tax.
The local dealer in Bakersfield has to order everything.
Does anyone know of a dealer that stocks tapered needle steering head bearings, aftermarket air filters, oil filters, valve shims, spark plugs, fork oil etc?

I found that UNI makes a OEM replacement reuseable foam air filter. Has anyone had any experience with this filter. I have heard that foam filters flow as well as stock but do not allow dirt through like the K&N does. Any one have any experience with the UNI filter?

There are two plugs spec'd for the VFR. One is a Nipondenso Hot U. I know some bikes like these plugs & some don't. Anyone have any comments on the best plug for a totally stock bike?

Thanks
Chris

Great prices on OEM parts and aftermarket goods, best I have seen yet. You have to know the part numbers to get prices online.

Re: Best VFR Parts supplier, Air filter & Hot U pl

I converted my worn out steering head ball bearings to tapered roller bearings.
The parts purchased for the conversion are all Honda OEM. I purchased from http://www.servicehonda.com

Here's what you need for the job.
91015-425-832 BEARING, HEAD PIPE $17.50 x1
91016-371-000 BEARING, HEAD PIPE $22.37 x1
53214-KA4-701 DUST SEAL $3.20 x1
53214-371-010 DUST SEAL $5.84 x1

Even after their nominal Fed-Ex charges for shipping and handling, the prices are FAR below any local dealer.
If your a DIY kind of person and have a parts CD, you can't beat these guys.
