Just thought I’d share this with everyone. I’m not a handy person and I don’t have the money to buy a fender eliminator kit, so I made my own. The total cost was $23.00, and I bought it all at Checker Auto Parts. Items were, full license plate (the ones that say “I’m a bitch”) which I used for the backing of the frame, the chrome frame, and the lights that bolt on top. I used the original metal harness that I pulled off the plastic fender, and wah-la…..

that's cool. some staes get picky with placement and positioning. Looks good though.

I felt the same way you did about the fender eliminator, $130 for a piece of stainless? (I like your solution, imaginative).
But I went to the Honda dealer and the 2003+ VFR fender eleminator was only $55. Couldn't pass it up.
Just be careful. In some states you can and will be issued a ticket for having not having the license plate mounted in the traditional manner. No verticle mounting is allowed.
