Electrical Problem / no power to anything

I am not getting any power to anything. Turn the key and nothing lights up, no horn, no starter.

I checked the starter relay and have power to the harness after the relay.

Is there a main fuse / Relay on a 91 ?

There is a 30A fuse next to the battery box.

That is the plug / fuse for the starter relay.

That four connector plug is the problem.

Any Idea on a fix that does not include replacing the harness? The relay has a four spade male connection and the faulty plug is four female.

You can insert a paper clip end to push back the metal tang and remove the spade from the molex connector. Inspect it, clean it off and push it back in. Do this with every connector.

If you want to replace the entire connector, you can try here: Vintage Connections: OEM-Style Connectors for Japanese Motorcycles

There are many other sources out there...

thanks for the link. I will see if any of them will work.

Where is a good place to buy a battery?

I had this problem back in June. The four plugs on the starter relay were coming off of the housing (rust / corrosion). I replaced that, but it didn't fix the problem. Turns out the connectors were fried, too (even after cleaning w/steel wool). I ordered some from here:

Wire My Bike

He sent four heavy duty wires, connectors, some solder (which we didn't need it turned out) and it worked like a charm. It wasn't expensive, and not a hard fix.

good luck.
