I know how to do this with my car, just remove the vacuum hose from the brake area and pour it in at about 2500 rpms but I was wondering if it can be done on a 5th GEN to clean out carbon deposits on top of the valves.
I used Seafoam on my '98 with 25k mile and omg, it is like having a new bike! I openned up the airbox and revved the engine as I poured some down each down tube until about a 1/4 of the can was left, then I stalled the engine with the remaining. I let it sit for 15 minutes, cranked it up, had the smoke show for a while and now have a new bike![]()
I would like to know how it worked for you after you do it and if it made any changes to the bikes performance.

also think about BG44K - works wonders!

SeaFoam is safe for every ic engine ever manufactured except the one that comes as standard equipment in a 5g.....read the fine print on the container![]()
