    upgrade suspension for weight

I wrecked my old bike last week and am looking at an '07 VFR anniversary edition. I weigh 350 lbs. What suspension upgrades should I be looking at to set this bike up for my weight? I've checked racetech and that looks promising, but are there other options?

I would suggest looking at Hyperpro for front springs and rear shock and spring. They sell a progressive rate spring instead of the straight rate springs that Race Tech sells. Read about it here: High performance motorcycle suspension sales and service from EPM Performance Imports

RaceTech sells aftermarket springs that are not progressive to go with the gold valving.

Race Tech rear shocks are also rebuildable for, at last look, about $125.00

A little advice. Installation of these components should not IMO be given over to the average wrenches at the dealership. Best bet IMO is hit some road races and talk it up with one of the race mechanics.

If you change the springs in the forks, also install the gold valves. Racetech makes quality stuff. I may do that to mine, just waiting for the dough. It will cost about $400-500 in parts alone.
