    Spark Unit,CDI

    Rebuilding 87 vfr 700 f2 and wondering if I can use a spark unit from a 86 vfr 750f.The 86 unit has 2 extra harnesses, one for the tach and another for the cam pulser.According to Clymer manual all other wiring colours from the two units identical .Can I use the 86 unit and just ignore the two extra harnesses?
