    Alarm

In my new bike ('98 VFR800FI) i have found an alarm siren under the seat. Is there anyway of finding out what type it is and getting a fob so i can use it?

If its just a siren then there really is no telling what alarm there was before. Unless the siren had a sticker on it claiming to be part of a system. It would be like what I have at my house. I have a Pioneer system but I dont have Pioneer speakers (JBLs). If I moved and left the speakers you would think that I have a JBL system but thats not the case. The sort of plus side, (I use to install car alarms and stereos) that if you buy an alarm for your bike you dont have to buy the speaker. The down side is that when you buy an "out of the box" alarm system it already comes with the speaker.
