85 VF700F Dies Electronically

When the bike starts it sometimes dies and all of the electronics turn off. I turn the key to off and then on and it will start. It even does it when it is restarted and still warm. The battery checked out ok. Any suggestions?

CLEAN the green ground wire under the seat (sandpaper) and maybe inspect the plug connector between key switch and main wiring harness.

ALSO inspect the plug where harness attaches to starter relay.
