Excellent Post!!! the D & D sounds real mean to me.
People do not care how much you know until they know how much you care!!!
Great thread guys. Have to tell you about a prank we pulled on a friend years ago. We took the mufflers off of an '86 VFR750F and left only the headers on.
This was inside my garage. Then we telephoned a friend and told him we had
secretly been building a dragster. We put the phone close to the bike and redlined it about 5 times. The decible level almost blew out the garage windows! My wife called us a few choice names...
For several months he really thought we had built a fuel/supercharged dragster.
The sound was insane and intoxicating! Wish I had recorded it ;o)
Two Bros, Staintune and dd are really fine here!
But Arata, Arrow, and Galassetti, just to name a few...I bet have incredible sound, too.
I must make my compliments to the mate who stated to post here these musics...........Someone will build a monument in the Viffer valley for all this, one day
Enought for u, Vman...?
I will post here pics and exaust rumors of my Viffer, as soon as I'll be able to do it and....it's ready.![]()

Does anybody have the stock sounds too compare with
Thanks for the sound clips-EASY DECISION!!!! D & D Please, and I'll take mine in Carbon Fiber. The rest pale in comparison for DRASTIC change and MEAN as Hell!!!
Hey all, thought I'd chime in with my thoughts.![]()
Well, after listening to them all -again and again! - I agree with most everyone ...the Staintune and the D&D, sound about the baddest. The Micron and Leo rank high on my list if you don't want the loud until you get on em' exhausts. But if I had to make a choice today, I'd be chewin' between Staintune and D&D. That (Staintune) vid of the guy rolling down the street sounds pretty friggin kewl.
Tough choice though. It'd be nice to hear both of em up close and personal![]()

Just curious, does the Staintune on a gen6 sound this loud? I'm not sure I could live with this much attention.. I presume the clip posted here was without the baffles?

All I get is the damned red X in a box,,,, help.I have the TWO BROS pipe with dual pipes on the side And I think its the lowest and best sounding but I do not think you can buy it anymore, anyone else heard this pipe setup?
I have the Two Brothers Single Carbon on my 05 and I really like it. Mine is matched with a "fake" matching can (doubles as a really nice underseat lockable storage tube -- but looks just like a dual exhaust) and I really like the sound of it. It has a deep chesty sound and looks really nice, too. Check out my gallery pics.
I'd never thought of a sound byte... too late tonight, but maybe I'll get one posted tomorrow?

Midias... I like birds singing and chirping along with the exhaust... classique![]()

I like this sound better than the cobra cans.
Good work!
"Some are born to ride, others are just born"
Did you find any change in performance after adding these pipes?
Just curious...
"Some are born to ride, others are just born"
No change in horse power performance. At first I thought there might be but I think it was just sound. I know the VTR puts out about the same HP (I think 104). As for TQ I think low end power went up some. Also I no longer have popping on deceleration And I love that.![]()
I'll try to post some recent pics and the sound of a race Galassetti can, mounted on the left side of bike as SBK tradition wants...
Anyone have a good clip of the Scorpion Dual Pipes?
^ your nuts if you don't like this sound. Nice now where'd that video of mine go? ah there it is, I knew it was around here somewhere

I installed a set of Staintunes on my 2004
and my Roommate has Lasers on his 2003
I also got vids of my bike with the stock exhaust
all with the same camera, on the same day,
and all at opperating temp, for a good compairison
