VTEC A3 fuse boxes???
Dear All. This may be a very stupid question but here goes! I switched the ignition of my 2003 ABS model VTEC on this afternoon to find I had no digital instrument displays (except clock), and no lights (except brake light). The engine would start and I have horn and indicators working. Naturally, I first suspected fuses so... I checked the owner's manual and found that the fuses in the ABS model are in two small boxes under both the left and the right inner fairing panels (the small black trim panels next to the front forks). I removed these, but the fuse boxes are nowhere to be seen! Except, are they attached to the OTHER side of brackets that I can see and therefore only accessible if I remove the front fairing? Surely not! It looks as if the fuse boxes could be "unclipped" from the brackets (possibly using the blade of a screwdriver?). I just can't believe that something so basic as fuse boxes can be so inaccessible, or am I being daft and missing something really obvious? The owner's manual clearly shows the fuse boxes underneath the inner black trim panels, buth they're just not there on my bike!!! Help! Thanks.

Problem sorted! As I suspected: a senior moment... I was removing the wrong part of the fairing. Time to lie down in a darkened room I think.
