Hi, nice write up of the Helibars. I have an '07 and got a set of Helibars yesterday. Will probably get them on this this weekend or so. A question.....you don't have heated grips. I do have them and was wondering what you thought about when the left side grip comes off.....as the heat elements are in 'sticky' paper and this element/paper rolls around (and sticks to) the bar. Would it be easier for me to carefully razor blade off the old grip in luei of risking tearing the heating elements?
