modified foot pegs

I've had the suspension lowered on my 2006 VFR and now find that I'd like to have my foot pegs lowered also. Does anyone have any ideas about modifying the foot pegs?

Buell footpegs.

I have a set I bought from a fellow viffer owner but I don't recall what model. I think it was possibly the lighting or the blast models. They are about an inch lower. I removed the peg feelers to keep the warning level about the same. Since you lowered your bike you will definitely need to remove them.

I put them on my 4gen and had to do a fair bit of grinding to get them in the smaller 4gen mounts but I don't think you need to do that on 6gen mounts. Like my 4gen, they are metal pegs not rubber like 6gen.

If you've lowered your bike, you have already compromised the ground clearance to the pegs...wouldn't you want to raise them rather than making the problem worse by lowering them further?? Mine drag at stock height as it is.....
