Carbon Fiber Heat Shields

I have a 2003 VFR800. The big chrome heat shields look out of place to me. Has anybody found aftermarket heat shields, maybe carbon fiber finish? Or any thoughts of how to cover/refinish the heat shields?

Re: Carbon Fiber Heat Shields

Picotte performance is a distributor for Thurn motorsports products. They make a nice CF heat shield.

Carbon Fiber Heat Shields

Did you ever find a carbon fiber heat shield for your VFR? I checked out http://www.dynamohumm.com but couldn't find any carbon fiber parts for a 2003 VFR.

I painted mine with Rustoleum shiny black high performance enamel. I'm not sure if it's going to stick though becuase I didn't use metal primer...
