Restyling the stock VFR seat

OK, here's the deal. I have a gift certificate for a complete custom rebuild of a seat. This guy specializes in redoing seats on old Italian motor scooters but does some motorcycle seats. He's never done a VFR seat. He can rebuild / reshape/ redesign the seat using high tech gels and foams.
So what would you do to make the stock seat more comfortable? And no, he won't have a corbin seat or any other to copy.

My issue is that I'm almost 5'7" with a 30" inseam. I reversed the plate to lower the ride height but I'm still on the balls of my feet. I have stock bars but feel that I'm still leaning to far forward. I would guess that a slight lowering on the front of the seat and maybe a bit of a narrowing. Is there a way to also bring the slope of the seat a bit back from the forward lean?

I have been going through the same process and would appreciate this companies name. I have been trying to work with Sargent's and it hasn't been fun to say the least so I am looking around. I am also buying a converted seat from Sargent that was made for someone else so could let you know when I get it as I am 6 foot 1 and a 30" inseam so my upper body is tall but since our inseam is the same the ride height to road clearance is the same.

I shaved about half of the foam off the bottom. I only took the foam away from the front seat and I left all the foam from the passenger seat. As a result the seat keeps me from sliding back when I put my feet on the rear pegs. The major difference, however, is that I now sit down into the bike. I have more confidence and I belive that I have greater control as a result. I really like the way that the seat feels. I may have the seat covered in leather by a professional or even have the use a different kind of foam. My bottom never got sore before by back anyway.
