Have a copy of the April RoadBike magazine?

I'm still looking for an article in the April RoadBike magazine that has a 4 horsepower boost for $.46. The July issue has a power parts buyers guide and refers to the April issue. My local library does not carry motorcycle magazines. Thank you.

I seen that article. They drilled a hole through the center of the exhaust pipe and stuck a $.46 cent bolt through the end of it. Something about exhaust flow can't remember exactly the reasoning behind it. Looked pretty getto

Thanks, I figured it would not be much so did not want to pay the $5 for the back issue and another $5 for shipping and handling for a $4 magazine. It is tough finding much VFR specific info out there which why this forum is so great.

As posted above, in the article, they drilled a hole through the exhaust at the end, and put a bolt through it. That's all. They say it will improve the exhaust flow in big bore twins. On a big twin the exhaust tends to "puff, puff, puff" insted of a nice flow like our V4s already do. Wouldn't help on a VFR.
