5th Gen Exhaust Mod
Well I couldn't find an aftermarket exhaust for the price I wanted, so I decided to mod the stock can. In 1 hour we cut open the can at the weld at the intake end, removed 1 Baffle, installed high-temp insulation and welded it back up. Looks as good as new. Sounds good too, although we may go back in and remove the insulation to see if it makes it louder, but not too loud.
Here are some pics and a vid with the new sound. I'll put a link on for sound while riding later. Inlet pipe  Inside can(stock)  Baffle removed  fitting hi temp insulation  Looks good as new

we did that on our 4thgen.. except i took EVERYTHING outta the can cut it down to 10 inchs.. and put it back together its kinda ungodly loud I LOVE IT.

look in the photo gallery. michael or whitenight or someone had a section set up for that... you might could just search 'exhaust clips' and find it...
