Just Bought One! Hurrah!!

Had to share - just purchased a 2002 VFR! I bring it home tomorrow. Then the fun starts.

I've been on bikes since I was 16. Sold my last one in my 30's, which was a Kawasaki 500, yep, one of the old 2 strokes. Was great fun!

One of my co-workers rides, and I started getting the urge again, so I decided I had best hurry up and finally get back on. I'm 52, so have X amount of years left to really ride. Now I can!

I used this forum to help me make my decision on which type of bike to buy. I know I'll be very happy!!

Welcome. Nice bike. Looks just like Tori's. He striped his wheels, too. I know he'd love to have those exhaust cans you got, though.

Although I'm not quite 52 yet, i agree we have to do the things we love to do while we still can,and not regret spending our lives sitting on our asses.

Welcome! Good for you! I know that new feeling...mine is only two weeks old. Speaking of age, I am 48 so I understand the gotta-do-it-while we-can feeling. Yours is sweet lookin'! It is RED so it has to be the fastest! Hold on and have some fun!

Congratulations! Great first bike after a hiatus from riding. It is almost scary how much better bikes have gotten. Have fun, and welcome to the club.

First day home, and it's snowing! In Portland, Oregon of all places!! Oh well, need to get my endorsement anyway, but did want to at least take it around the block!

Hey, I just turned 60 this month and I'm planning to swing a leg over a bike saddle and go riding for at least the next 25 years & I've been riding, on & off, since '64.
