HJC CL15. Came with the bike, so, it'll do until I find another one that I like.

Great response guys, keep it up.
Love the pics, too. There are some sweet lids out there.

An old Mets cap.

But seriously, an ICON Domain. I am very happy with it...or, as Drewl would say: "...yeah!"

I've got an Arai Profile (Spiral Red). Love it!!! Comfortable as hell and absolutely rock solid at speed, and it does it without a bunch of funky looking spoilers all over the place.

HEY! I resemble that remark!
I kinda like the spacey spoiler look of my Domain.
It is cool that there are so many choices of looks and functionality out there so that we can all have what makes us happy.

Hey Nungboy,
I certainly wasn't trying to call you out and I wasn't referring specifically to your Icon. I'm just a more subdued kind of a guy and want a more subdued looking helmet. You're right, there are a lot of choices out there and it's nice that we can all find something that first of all, fits our head and secondly fits our personality.

Shoei RF-1000 in black. Should have bought an X-Eleven in the first place but now I have an excuse to buy another.

Thanks ILVFR75. I sensed you didn't even have a mental picture of my Domain but were just generically mentioning the various spoilers and geegaws that some helmets have. I like being goofy here in the Forum (and on the bike too I guess!) so had to jump in and be silly. Thanks for letting me have some fun!

HJC CL-14 in basic black... with black visor.

Have had this for a few years now, so I'm looking at getting a Shoei Raid2. These have a good reputation from other riders and are quite reasonably priced.

Shoei RF-1000 in Anthracite. Previous helmet was the RF-900, which did its job well in a high side...

I have a "Shoei" shaped head.

both my Shoei's came from Ridegear.com. Went to a local Bike shop to try it on, originally
Got a real good price for the X-11's. "if you have a ten dollar head then buy a ten dollar helmet." It was an old honda ad slogan. this helmet is very light and super quiet. I don't even notice and wind effects(buffeting) at any speed.
Helmet MSRP $692.00
Bikeshop $770.00 plus Tax
Ride Gear
White- $504 free shipping
Red Kagayama $534 free shipping

I purchased an Arai Vector (new model for '08) right before my 3 day 800 mile trip. I absolutely loved it!! I bought a lot of new gear for the trip and this was definitely the best purchase.

The only drawback is the whole liner is not removable for washing, just the cheekpads. In retrospect I would have bought the Corsaur Rx-7 for the removable pads. I still love the helmet though and I will only buy Arai for now on.
