Oh, it's not mine... a buddy of mine has the jacket, but not the helmet. I'd totally wear the whole get up if they made it big enough for me... I can almost wear the helmet...just a few mm too small for me in XXL. It's hard to miss though....especially on overcast days...and boy do you get some lookers lol

NEW HELMET UPDATE!

I went on my first ride with this helmet and boy is it quiet! The wind noise is almost non-existent up to 65mph. I can really hear the LV exhaust and the cars around me very well. The drop down sun shield works really well but doesn't block the wind in my eyes over 30mph which is a downer. Sometime i like to ride at slower speeds with the clear visor up and sunglasses. I was hoping the sun visor would block the wind better. Venting is great as its going to be over 85 F here today. I'd give this helmet an 8.5 out of 10 for comfort and quality.

My lid...

Icon Domain 2 SHA_DO in black.

Got the first ride in the helmet during my test ride of the new 02. It's a little bit noisy, but flows GREAT amounts of air when all vents are open!

Switched to silver EXO-1000 a few weeks back. I really like the drop down sunvisor as you can flip it up and down easily as needed rather than trying to put on and take off sunglasses. However it seems to whistle a lot unless you have your head perfectly level.

I just got a Shoei X-eleven. WOW! What a helmet. It makes my Icon look pretty poorly designed.

I'm raising the next Lord Helmet...

I had to share the wealth...

Here's my son testing out my new Dark Smoke Shield on my Icon Helmet.

I swear that if I took out all the EPS lining on the helmet that he could completely ball up and fit inside my helmet... Man I've got a BIG head... Poor kid... What have I doomed him to?

707 - Black with a smoked face shield. Paid 120 for it from Cycle Gear on sale. DOT/Snell...comfy, but ventilation could be better. Good pot for a good price...

hehehe...DISCLAIMER: This post is not to be construed as "420 Friendly!"

I wear an Arashi (Cycle Gear down the street from my pad had em on sale lol). Turned out to be a really decent lid. Gloss black, rubber spiky mohawk down the middle cuz I'm awesome. Mine's got an iridium gold lens cuz I hate wearin' shades in my helmet; I saw some EMT stories about guys who crushed their eye sockets in crashes that way.

The proper fit of a helmet, as has been said many times here, is vital for optimum protection. What happens if you buy on line and the fit is poor?

So that's two questions instead of one. Sue me !
My brother found an older HJC on Craigslist. We went to the guy's place, tried on the helmet, THEN paid $50 for it :P

I bought a sparx at the start of the year for $100au

But then when I bought the VFR ( ) I thought I’d better have something better than plastic on my noggin, so after a long search I bought an agv GP pro.

nice helmet I’m really happy.

(Tried to upload pics but didn't work sorry)

Ditto the wind noise - I have an EXO (safety white?) but found it to be the most comfortable of all the lids I tried on.

HJC carbon fiber for me, in the "Vader" graphics. (Next lid will likely be a Shoei.)
