Let's face it folks, when you have a motorcycle you're going to enjoy a spirited ride and sometimes the fuzz doesn't agree with your views on recreational driving.
For those times they give you a ticket there's this website www.beatmyspeedingticket.com that offers electronic documents that you can print up for court at $29.95. The electronic documents are in PDF and Word format and the main document tells you exactly what to say in court and what to do if they object to any of your questions. I used this myself to get out of a 89 in a 55 speeding ticket. Since this is a great service for speeders like us and I don't want to deprive BeatMySpeedingTicket.com of potential sales I will only reveal that at court I had to ask them for a specific document. The cop could not provide the document and my case was thrown out. Since I wanted some personal revenge against that cop I got to say it felt great seeing him frown after realizing he lost his case against me. What's really cool about this is that it even lists specific strategies for each method that the cop can use to determine your speed. (Radar, Laser, Pacing, Photo Radar) It's literally a 1-2-3 step product where you can just print up the documents and carry it to court and recite it. I definitely give this service 2 thumbs up! |

Also note in Calgary there is a system in place to speed this up.
Rather than tying up the courts with silly thinks they have a Speedy solutions system. Down town you walk in there and you sit in front of a justice of the peace after waiting in line. He reviews your case and decides weather to annul the ticket, reduce the fine, reduce or remove the demerit penalty, or do nothing. So you walk in there and almost before you open your mouth he's taken away the demerit penalty and it does not affect your record but leaves the fine. If you have an excuse he reduces or eliminates the fine. After all this if you disagree with his ruling you go to court as normal and fight it. The reason they do this is the coast to run a court for a $100 fine is greater than $100 and they relies most people just want a reduction or removal of there demerit penalty. Also removes cases of blatant wrongness and such. Never had to go there for the bike but was doing 80 in a 60 zone. They DO NOT ADVERTISE this as they want most people to just pay there tickets. Sure this may apply else where, i forget the exact name of the program though. |

the sad thing is....if a cop wants to lie, the judge will take his word over yours 99% of the time.
i know for a fact that police do lie on their reports if if helps their case, at least in Maricopa county. (Impeach sherrif joe!)

I always thought Maricopa County was in Arizona, of course it's been a while since I've done anything associated with geography, other than GPS, LOL! I just bought a new radar/laser setup for my machine and can't wait to post the install. Down with the man!
