Nicky @ Indy 500

Nicky Hayden will do a lap on his motoGP bike that he ran at Qatar around Indy about an hour prior to the race on Memorial Day as a work up to Sept's race.

Great chance for Honda and Repsol publicity as well as exposing the Indy folks to motorcycles (again).

Maybe one chain to get it moving via the pedals and the other as the drive chain from the engine. I could only imagine the pedals whipping around and around at speed

I think I read somewhere the rear brake is activated with the pedals as well, like the coast brakes on you old schwinn.

so maybe forward pedaling to help start, then brake when reverse pressure... note there are not cables to the handle grips for breaking off

How proud is the olde bike mechanice dude do you imagine?
