NJMP-Lightning Track Day

Well, I thought I would post up some pics from my last track day for the year (sorry the friends I have here and FB). I was at NJMP-Lightning course. In reflection I have to say what a blessed year for track days and I thank God for the good times with friends, learning and we all walked away safe, Can’t ask for much more.

To say I am already getting excited for next year would be an understatement. I made some great improvements but have a long ass way to go! And this brings me to the point of this thread. I pray it inspires some of you on VFRW to join us during one of the many track days we will be doing. Betarace and I will be hitting the track with our usual crew, which is really made up of a variety of riders and we can’t always ride together, but we hook up with one part of the crew or another. This past Monday I ran with our two R6 members Curt and Hector. Some of you have already expressed interest and we will be in touch.

Finally, don’t let the pics of me fool you. I am actually pretty slow. I may be the slowest rider in our group LOL! Although we have a new member that I haven’t ridden with, so time will tell. Anyway, we are very accommodating and don’t care about skill. If you are looking for fun, be safe and learn…you’ll fit right into our motley crew. And if you ass is fast, well the next levels in NESBA have fellow VFRW members too!

Think about it and save over the winter…

Rock on brother Jay!

That would rock for sure if you came to NJMP. Its a really nice facility. If you plan on a NJMP date(s) we'll see what we can do for accomodations to make it as cheap as possible for you (i.e. camp with us instead of hotel, etc.)

Betarace and I are planning a VIR trip next year so please post up your thoughts about the tracks when you complete them in October.

Glad you took a hit off the 'track pipe'...addicting isn't it?

And thank you 02, from a former racer, that's appreciated!
