now THAT looked like fun... However the title is misleading... Based on the instruments, it's NOT a 2009 VFR800, but it was taken in 2009 while on a 5th Gen VFR800... lol

Still would be an AWESOME experiment.

yeah thats what i got out of it too...
i never knew that autos and motos could be raced on the same track, at the same time?!
crazy that u'd have little euro vans and r1s competing at the same time...
a little dangerous huh?

That looked incredible. Thanks for posting! A great ride, and he/she showed what the VFR can do. I especially liked the part when they passed the Ferrari, then Porsche, then Mini-Van. Hold-up, back up, Mini-Van? Where they filming the next Family Vacation movie? Look kids, the Great Wall, Berlin, Nurburgring!

Thanks again for posting, I really enjoyed it, and hope someday to experience that for myself.

I love the turn signals to pass... they got their crap together over there. I wish I lived next to that track, then again maybe not.

IIRC, Nurburgring is actually used by civilian traffic on certain sections as opposed to it ALWAYS being nothing more than a race track... so that explains some of the civilian traffic... i.e. Mini Van, etc...

Although it would be interesting to see a bunch of mini-vans race the track. How many times could you get the van on 2 wheels and still maintain control?

I taught him well. Damned I wished I could ride like that. But there were a few times he could have given her more. There was room on the throttle and from what I could see on the speedo, there was room there too. But no way that was a 2009. I doubt it was even a 6th gen cause the speedo was not digital. Could be wrong.

Several years ago, Top Gear, a British motor show did this at the ring. Watch as she passes a 'slow' bike.
