Fuel injector cleaners?

    Anyone using fuel injector cleaner in their VFR? If so, at what intervals, how much, and what brand? Thanks!

    Surprisingly, I didn't see this being addressed in the owners manual, assuming I didn't just totally miss it.

    Modern fuels already have injector cleaner in them. Don't use any additive in your gas or in your oil.

    Unleaded premium has an additive to clean fuel injectors. Techron by Chevron is the best pour in cleaner available. If you use it, reduce the amount to compensate for the fuel capacity in the VFR; too much and you will blow out the O2 sensor.
