Hi guys/gals! Any one of you located down in this area? I have yet to spot another VFR down here.

Last weekend was great riding by A1A near Beach Place. Hard to concentrate with all the spring breakers showing off their bikinis...

Funny how many people have stopped me and asked what kind of bike it is?

Tampa Bay reporting in. I know 2 other VFR riders in my area, and I have ridden with 1 of them.

Dang Snake, that was Truly Awful:what:..... I am actually "From" south Jersey/Exit #5 on the Turnpike.... Willingboro. My X-ball-n-chain is from down here. But I am pretty much a Native now (since 99).

Enjoy the snow.... I am riding

Sorry to hijack, but South Jersey is not really part of Jersey. Anything south of Route 78 is "Philly". Its like Jersey has its own Mason-Dixon line.

And for the record, the snow all melted. Sure its been negative 10 to20 for the last 3 days, but there's no snow. So contemplate that when you're riding!

I actually like the Tampa area. For most of my youth/teen/early 20's we had a condo on the Isle of Sand Key in Clearwater. My mom lives just north of there now, my sister is in Jacksonville, and my Pops is just outside of Ft. Lauderdale.

@ Pliskin.... anyplace north of Trenton is NY; that is why the Giants & Jets play in Rutherford....

Sounds like you need to move (back) down here. A lot has changed. And nowadays, the hurricanes are coming up there!
My folks are still up there and had no power for almost a month due to Sandy. I have yet to be affected since living in Floriduh and we actaually do have some twisty roads and it only takes @ 8hrs- 10hrs to get to Deals Gap. I am RAMBLING

Is is politically incorrect to call Tampa, "Tampon" or "Trampa?" Kidding aside, I do like visiting Tampa but for me, the only part of FL that is FL is South FL. Kinda like Pliskin sed aboove aboot NJ having the "Mason-Dixon-Line.

When you used to venture into parts of NJ that were near PA, it was like you suddenly entered the zombie territory. Yes there was a vacancy in peoples eyes as they shuffled around...

Wana do Deal Gap one day btw :vtr2:

Yes, "Trampa Bay" is local slang... My family vacations on Marco Island frequently. I have stayed on Ocean Drive in Miami for a long weekend- to many Posers for me though. Key West is cool too. The guy that I bought my VFR from lived in the Keys/Islamorada area so we made a weekend trip of that too.

Deals Gap/the Dragon is Awesome!! I am def going back there
