hi all i have a vfr700 1986 here in new zealand , and have a starting problem. the wiring had burnt out witch has been replaced now ,the bike turns over but will not start , if you keep turning it over it will finally start but seams to start on one cylinder then the other cyls fire up when running it has no worries is charging and battery is a new battery can not work out why this is happeneing before the wiring burnt out would start first time ??
Test the spark on all 4 spark plugs. Could be that the carbs are gummed up from sitting while the wiring was fixed. What was replaced on the bike due to the fire?
The connector plugs from the rectifier were replaced the guy at the bike shop check the compression fitted new spark plugs and checked the carbs so am a bit lost at why this is happenning
