    Hello everybody¡
I asked if anybody could send me some photos of exhaust system, because I own the only VFR in my town...guess what?? Nobody sent any, so I had to make miracles to put a new exhaust in my bike.
the previous owner fall down and took off the original exhaust and put a little Two Bros that was very noisy, I like to recommend Delkevik systems :good price and excellent quality. To be honest I thougth that will receive lots of pictures from the members but no one do that, I like to help people whenever I can, but this time Im a little disapointed. Why are you in a group and don not try to help a friend who ask you for help??

    saludos desde Mexico

Maybe your post got missed in the many recently. Did you do a search on previous posts? There was one with audio clips of most common exhaust put on VFRs. Plus you can check the galleries, most people have really good pictures of their bikes on there.

Don't let this experience put you off. Everyone on this forum is really helpful.

    Xeipher.

Hi E Cabrera, Sorry that no one helped you, this is not an excuse however, I sometimes get really confused about the definations of the two major components of the system. Often when guys refer to the exhaust they mean the muffler or the slip on as its often called, I dont think that is the exhaust. To me the exhaust is the header
that makes up all the tubes from the cylinder head that goes back to where the muffler or slip on attaches. eddie

What happens is if the site is busy when you post, your topic gets bumped off the main page rather quickly. Once that happens unless someone goes into the subforms page it doesn't get seen. I've got a sixth gen bike so can't help with the exhaust, but Delkevic also makes a catless header for your bike.

    Thanks Eddie cap¡
I was refering to the slip on. but in my bike I wasn`t able to put a slip on because there wasn't any tube , so I have to make a new one and weld it , and then colocate the slip on, had to buy a new footpeg to screw the muffler and make the curve to the tube to reach the new part ...
it wasn't easy but the result is OK

It sounds like you installed a new header also? I was not aware Delkevik made the slip on, I thought they only made the full header? Or maybe I'm confusing them with another brand?

Can you post a picture now that you have it installed?

    Hello Palousse cannon¡¡

The one I got has a mid pipe and two clamps for it in addition to the clamp for the can itself. I installed this two days ago. Sounds good, not too loud... actually it's kind of quiet, which is what I wanted.
