I'm not a die-hard, i'm a second season rider who need to get the hell out of the house so I put my CBR on the road beginning of March, but admittedly, I've seen bikes every month of the year up here. I bought the Verfur middle of March and have been riding it ever since.

    When did you get out?

Well I'm not from Illinois Zoober, but I am your neighbor to the north here in Wisconsin. I haven't gotten my VFR out yet this year, and from the way things are going around here lately it looks like I might not get her out at all this riding season. I've still got lots of parts I want to get for it and a ton of paintwork to do on it yet. Here's a pic of what it presently looks like. It all started out so innocently one day with changing a light bulb, and then the next thing you know it turned into a "break job". You know what I mean Zoober, first I broke this and then I broke that.

Not having too much luck with my RC51 either. Got a right side fork seal that's gushing oil all over the place, and I'm still waiting for the Matris Racing FO5-R fork cartridges and Attack Performance billet triple clamps that I ordered over a month ago.
On the bright side though my little Ducati 900ss is all revved up and raring to go. Just waiting for some monsoon rains to wash all the salt off the roads, and fortunately the weatherman says it's supposed to be raining all this week. So hopefully I'll be out and plonking around on my 900ss next weekend. YIPPEE!!!

Brought Captain Competent home this January in North Central Illinois. Note the fine job the shop did on the FJ1300 hot grip control below the left handgrip. Those+sub zero under armor, and I go if the roads are clear. Picking him back up saturday, see ya on 90!

Made it out there the first week of March. Seen some good days so far, and some not-so-good. Got caught in a light snow last night, which was fun..

I am from Illinois, and mine is still covered up in the garage. The snow last night made me think about not getting it out yet.

    LOL,that would be Nope! :heh:
Gotta admit we did kinda crank the volume up a little bit on the paint job this time around though Jesus. :guitar:
Prolly gonna need to wear a pair of dark sunglasses to look at the bike when we're done with it because you'll most likely get a good sunburn from all the glare coming off it.

Thanks Keager that was exactly what we were going for,and trust me it's gettin' louder all the time.
Here's a little more eye-candy for you. Those valve covers look freakin' awesome next to the bike's Dark Blue frame.
