I have been watching this on Craigslist and would love to buy it but times are tight and getting tighter and my wife would kill me in my sleep if I came home with it.Would have to sleep with one eye open for the rest of my life.

Great look, great sound. If you want a kR for the looks but still want to ride the thing, he's done exactly what you need to do. Worth every penny.

    Very nice work!

This bike looks to be a very good deal for someone. Hope things work out with the sale.

If I could ask, did you tackle the CBR600F2 and CBR900RR wheel conversion yourself?

These wheels are, aesthetically, a great fit and the tire sizing looks spot on.

Thanks for the comments. On the wheel conversions, Jaime Daugherty, member here, did the machining needed. Daugherty Motorsports - Motorcycle Suspension Performance and Modification I was surprised at how transformed the bike was with the new PP tires, it feels like it lost 100 lbs.

There's still so much more that could be done but the project budget is empty, the tax man is calling and the Fed turned down my $5B bailout request.

Just curious if this bike sold. I'm in San Jose and would be interested to hearing if it is still available. Thanks -- Eric (enesset@yahoo.com)

    Mike,

No matter what, it`s still sad to see it go to a new owner.

Oh Lord!!!! Don't say that!! I'm the new owner and It's headed to NC from CA. I have plenty of insurance on it but still. Anyway, I'm very happy with the transaction, and can't wait to throw a leg over it. Unfortunately, I have a little while before I get home to see and ride it. Damn military deployments get in the way of important stuff like family and new motorcycle purchases:biggrin:

Very sad, like selling my rebuilt cafe bike a few years ago. But it's going to a good home with someone who will appreciate it...And I've got a F project to start on now.
