Where is the best place to start troubleshooting a sticky throttle. Its not bad, just doesn't snap back which would make me feel a whole lot more confident. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
I would recommend first determining if you feel it is a spring issue (return spring at throttle linkage on carb body may need replacement due to age, etc.) or a cable issue (dirty/dry/broken or binding). Do you have a cable lube tool and a silicone based lubricant?
Remove the throttle tube , clean and lubricate the bar, tube and switch gear. Be sure the grip is not dragging on the switch gear and that the cables are routed correctly, cable routing will screw that up badly.
