Certainly let us know if you plan to go that route!! More importantly, pictures of the new ride are required upon purchase!

    What a bike..

Doesnt have the low end grunt of the Buell, but then the Buell doesnt have a 12K redline. Engine is still being broken in (3800M) so it never even hit the VTEC threshold. Probably will at some point though. Need to get a good shop manual next I suppose. Idle seems a little high...1400 rpm? Is that pre-set by the ECM or can/should you adjust it down a bit? Just a beautiful piece of hardware. Honda did good on this one. Even better than my NX 250..ha.

Yes, you've got yourself a great machine. It's sounds like it's practically new too. You can't beat Honda quality, reliability and longevity. I've been Honda brand loyal since my MX days. Back then, they were the only ones who could make a 125 2-stroke that had great power, a clutch that didn't creep and a bike that could actually shift flawlessly under load.

I was a yamaha guy forever, but still loved hondas for cars. When I got my 6th gen Viffer though, I was converted on site. I will bet on a honda from now on. My bike had almost 22k when I bought it and I can't imagine that it ran any stronger when the first owner pulled her out of the dealership lot. The styling is timeless, the exhaust note is invigorating and performance is stunning. I really can't say enough about this bike, and I'm sure you won't be able to either. Take good care of her and she will reward you with years of faithful service. Side note...I love the RWB 6th gens. I have never seen one around my place, hell my Italian Red one is a diamond in the rough of 600cc supersports around here. Congrats and enjoy!

btw-You had better post some pics though, we aren't effing around when we say we want to see some.

I really like my 2007  (I would say love, but I reserve that term for things that can really love me back, like my family and pets )

I got my bike with under 1500 miles, and it really is the bike that I have always wanted - even before I knew much about it. Bike now has almost 6k.
1400 is probably the high idle - cold engine/cold air. Once it warms up, you may not see that high idle again until next winter.

PICS PLEASE! Without them it is like taking a blind guy to an art museum - how does he know the art really exists!

Ha....well, its been on Craiglist for a few years...no serious offers...so decided to further the tinkering. Fired the beast up today and it sure is loud. Need the shorty canister soon. It does come with a db insert-Id imagine that will need to go in. May need a richer map for the PC-V as well. Pics for sure...and a sound clip.

Just got the canister in...nice piece actually. Still need to permanently mount it, but was able to plug it all together and it sounds like a small block chevy. Amazing how much the little canister muffles things. The DB killer is pretty restrictive, so may try drilling out the holes in it and trying it. Pics/vid when I can get it all mounted. Wonder if Midas would tackle this???
